SPEAKER

WILL JONES

Will was born and raised in Tuscaloosa alongside his younger sister with wonderful, Christ-following parents. His journey with the Lord could be summarized in one word: grace. It was God's grace that led him to saving faith at eight years old; it's because of His grace that He was surrounded by many faithful friends and older believers during the tough years of middle school, high school, and college at Alabama. God's grace has radiated throughout His guiding to full-time ministry, leading Will to serve at two wonderful churches (Buhl Baptist and now Brook Hills), and allowing him to meet his amazing wife, Olivia.

Will has been serving in full-time student ministry for six years, and each year, He has been even more thankful that the Lord allows him to serve in this way. In his free time, you'll likely find him reading (pretty much anything related to history, sci-fi/fantasy, or theology), gaming (PS5, of course!), or enjoying movies and walks with Olivia and their dog Stella.

We are very excited to have Will leading our large group sessions for this year’s DNOW!

Fun Fact from Will: If you were to ask anyone close to him, they would quickly tell you that ketchup is, hands down, his favorite condiment. It's truly the only sauce he needs!

WORSHIP LEADER

RYAN JOHN BAND

Ryan John Snell is a talented musician and singer. Years ago while touring as a speaker, Ryan John noticed a lot of churches were interested in bringing in a speaker…and a band. After struggling week after week to find available bands, Ryan prayed that God would give him the voice to sing and the talent to play the guitar in order to more effectively travel and minister.  Thus began the stirring in his heart for music ministry.

We are one of the beneficiaries of this prayer, for Ryan John has both been our speaker and worship leader in past, and this year we are excitd to have him and his band back to lead our worship during our DNOW 2025 weekend!
