Our focus for Northside DNOW 2025 will be the Living Hope that we have in Jesus Christ. In our main sessions we will delve into three truths we see presented in 1 Peter. First, we will see that the hope that Jesus offers stands in stark contrast to the fleeting pleasures that the world offers. Because of Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection, we can have an imperishable hope and inheritance that is secured in Jesus Christ - a hope is available to anyone who accepts His free offer of salvation and follows Him as Lord. We will follow that truth with a focus on how we can live changed lives through our relationship with Jesus, knowing that God’s unchanging nature and promises are steady anchors for our souls. Finally, we will look at our responsibility as believers to make the Gospel evident to others through talking about it and through modeling it in the way that we go about our lives in the day-to-day. After each main session, students will delve deeper into these ideas in small group sessions and will be challenged to think about how they can live out these ideas in their daily lives.
